I finally have gotten caught up with allll of my Christmas Mini and regular session editing, so now it’s time to blog…it’s been so long. But in between Christmas Mini’s, I got to spend a Monday evening with Miss Alessia. I love newborn sessions. I really do, newborns are just so sweet and cuddly. We did a few different setups and looks for this session. Since she was born in the fall, and mom had a sunflower themed baby shower we incorporated those elements into the session. 

With every newborn session I always have a bunch of ideas, but I want to know what mom and dad would like as well. Is the baby’s nursery a certain color?  Would you like to incorporate that color or theme? Newborn sessions not only memorialize this time in life that flies by, but should be customizable to you and your family. 

If you are expecting and unsure if you should have professional newborn portraits done…please do them! This is one investment you will not forget. The newborn stages is gone in the blink of an eye. This is a perfect way to take a break and document this beautiful time for your growing family. 

All newborn sessions consist of organic, natural prompts in the lifestyle section of the studio, as well as posed family portraits in front of a backdrop, as well as solo posed portraits of baby only.
